Edie

High spirited, affectionate young lady ready now for a love-filled, safe, forever home!

Edie was noticed by several people after she was discovered sheltering in a local drain. Craving human connection but terrified, it took weeks for enough trust to build to secure her safely, when she was brought to the door of a local Dunroamin carer. The relief at being in a soft warm bed was immediately obvious, and clearly familiar. She didn't even eat that first night - she did not want to get out of that bed, purring gratefully and accepting pats.

We estimate Edie is 9-12 months old. She has now been desexed chipped and vaccinated, and is ready for a loving, safe home. She is very smoochy, and you won't get tired of stroking her as she is the softest girl ever. She needs a home where she will get plenty of attention and play time. An indoor life with a large outdoor enclosure would be ideal as she loves the outdoors but has an adventurous spirit. Could be a candidate for harness/lead training. Older kids may be better than younger as she can play rough.

Edie has not been in care long and can scare easily but has settled into her foster home quite easily. She LOVES her little cave bed and is also quickly adapting to the other cats in her foster home. She could definitely live with another cat provided they are given ample space and time to get to know each other.
