OUR MISSION

The mission of Dunroamin Animal Rescue is to bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets. We not only rescue, rehabilitate and re-home, but we've also built community programs and partnerships for affordable desexing and prevented unnecessary dumping and killing in pounds.

We believe that by working together we can Save Them All.

GOAL: To bring about a time when there are No More Homeless Pets.

VISION: A better world through kindness to animals

GOLDEN RULE: To treat all living things as we ourselves would wish to be treated.

KINDNESS: To demonstrate compassion and respect for all living creatures.

POSITIVE INFLUENCE: To judge our effectiveness by the extent to which animal lives are saved and improved, and by the positive experience of the people we touch.

LEADERSHIP: To lead by example, developing, promoting and sharing great new ideas and programs to help animals.

AUTHENTICITY: To do what we say we do.

TRANSPARENCY: To be open and honest in our relationships.

Now in its 7th year, The Dunroamin DESEXING PROGRAM has provided free and heavily subsidised spaying for HUNDREDS of dogs and cats, preventing the cycle that only ends in more homeless animals. The proof is in the pudding, with local vets and pounds seeing an obvious decrease in numbers and a better educated community on the importance of desexing and responsible pet ownership.
