Spot

Resilient, loyal, loving, brave.

Spot arrived on the door step of just the right person, in the middle of the night at the height of a thunderstorm, sick, bleeding and desperately looking for food.

It just so happened this kind person had recently applied to be a Dunroamin foster carer so when we showed up for a pre-planned visit the next day it was fated that Spot would immediately become a Dunroamin cat - off she went to our vet to get her the help she needed. And just in time - left a day or 2 longer she would have most likely died. Her insides were such a mess it was almost impossible to tell whether there had been kittens inside her or what the cause was.

Suffice to say it has taken quite some time for Spot to recover. During that time she has bonded strongly with her carer and rescuer, however she is not so keen on sharing them with any other cats. She is grateful her life was saved; it has been a hard road for her. Now she needs a place of her own to call home, ideally somewhere quiet and safe with older or no children, and no other cats. She has not met a dog since being in care.

This affectionate girl doesn't like being held or picked up, but adores pats and head scratches(there may be some love bites in there also!), offers up lovely head bops and will happily cuddle up close to her trusted human.

She is approximately 2 years old, is good with her litterbox and loves her scratching post. She loves looking out the window and playing with straws. Do you have the environment and unconditional love this girl needs?
