You may have seen a couple of Facebook posts about Nala, but not about her daughter Polly - although you will have seen her in many of the photos with her Mama! Polly is a very pretty little girl who is slowly learning to accept pats and human touch. She just doesn't seem as keen on it - yet - as some of her siblings. She would much rather hang out with them - or her Mama. They are very similar - both a little aloof. We're convinced there must be some 'torti' DNA in there!
I am sure Polly will learn to love human children but may need some gentleness, time and patience.
Nala is an amazing mother. She always wants to know where all her kids are - including the surrogate orphans she didn't hesitate to take on immediately as her own. She is never going to be a lap cat. But she receives pats happily. She is a low maintenance and elegant lady who would love a comfy bed, a sunny spot and regular meals and she won't give you any trouble. She will make a good companion for someone who wants cat company but doesn't need a cat to necessarily be overly affectionate. We suspect Polly is going to be a lot like her mama.
We know most cats love a buddy and we often talk about adopting 2 kittens together - but what about a mother and daughter? Is there anyone who would love to allow these 2 to stay together forever?
We don't know how many babies Nala has raised and let go but she is approx. 4 years old and was surrendered from a house with multiple litters and un-desexed cats.
Them being adopted separately is still an option - but wanted to explore all of the options for them! Reach out for a chat.
